Who We Are
Asheville City Real Estate was founded in 2006 by three visionary women who recognized the pulse of Asheville’s evolving real estate market.
In response to the challenges posed by the 2008 economic downturn, they expanded into property management, addressing the community’s growing need for honest and reliable managers.
Through their experience, compassionate leadership, and determination to succeed, they built a company rooted in trust and integrity.
Today, under the ownership of Kyle Moss, who joined the team as Assistant Property Manager in 2017, Asheville City Real Estate remains a respected name in the industry, known for its commitment to transparency, simplicity, and straightforward service.

From the moment I joined Asheville City Real Estate in 2017, I knew I had found my niche. The property management industry, though unfamiliar to me, quickly captivated me with its dynamic challenges and rewards.
I was equally drawn in by the company’s formidable leadership, who immediately recognized my passion for the role. After two years of hard work and mentorship, I was honored to be entrusted as a co-owner—a pivotal moment that transformed both my professional and personal life.
Now, as the sole owner, I remain deeply grateful for the trust and respect from our property owners, as well as the loyalty of our tenants. My ongoing goal is to guide successful property management transactions through approachable methods and a balanced, level-headed approach. Asheville City Real Estate has built a legacy, and I am privileged to carry it forward.

Asheville has always had a special place in my heart! Growing up my grandparents lived here in the area and we would visit often, especially since I lived just over the mountain in Johnson City, TN. I then went to the University of Tennessee and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Design. In 2010, I decided to make Asheville truly my home!
In my role as the Assistant Property Manager and Office Manager, I am excited to share my love of the Asheville area with others and to utilize my previous work experience to help people find a perfect spot to call home.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends, exploring the local music scene, discovering new bands, hiking, and doing any kind of water activity. Traveling and pet sitting for some amazing animals also is a passion of mine!
Feel free to reach out—I’m here to help with any of your property needs and I look forward to assisting you in your search!

I’m a native to Western North Carolina and grew up just down the mountain in Tryon, NC. I love traveling internationally and have been fortunate to explore Mexico, France and Norway extensively. One thing I appreciate about Asheville is the wonderful food! So when I don’t have time to travel, I go for adventurous cuisine. Some of my favorite restaurants are Curate, Chai Pani, and Rendezvous. When I’m not indulging in fine dining, I can be found playing a board game, shooting pool, or camping with my sisters.
My education is in biology and ecology. I went to Berea college for undergraduate studies and was a weaver and a clogger while there. I did my graduate studies at Western Carolina University. I use my knowledge of native plants and animals often in my current career as a realtor and property manager. Really I should have studied bears! Haha
I’ve been in property management since 2020. I like working for a small company that focuses on quality and service with a personal touch. Let me know how I can help you in your search!
CORY REAVIS
MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR
(828) 210-2222, Ext.1#
I’m a maintenance technician serving our Asheville properties, with four years of hands-on construction experience and a background rooted in a family of builders. Before moving fully into construction and property maintenance, I was a classically trained chef who attended culinary school in Italy and spent 15 years as a paramedic and firefighter in Atlanta—so working under pressure, staying organized, and fixing problems fast comes naturally to me. Outside of work, I’m a lifelong Arsenal supporter, enjoy local music and festivals, and spend most of my time with my partner and our three kids.

I’ve been fortunate to call Asheville home since 2001, when I came to UNC-Asheville to pursue a degree in Psychology. I’ve always loved helping people achieve their goals. Whether you are looking to buy or sell your home or invest in property, I am eager to help and bring my diverse experience to the process.
I enjoy bringing in-depth knowledge about Asheville and Western North Carolina’s various communities to help you find a location you love. As chair of my neighborhood association – WECAN, often referred to as “Chicken Hill”, I stay up to date on city initiatives and proposed developments. As a board member of Green Opportunities, I support an organization providing job training and sustainable employment pathways to people so that they may one day access home ownership.
In my spare time, I participate in an Afro-Brazilian Drum and Dance group, often performing at the Lake Eden Arts Festival, the Asheville Percussion Festival, or the Lexington Avenue Arts and Fun Festival. I love running in the woods or swimming in one of our many mountain lakes with my dog Fern. I also enjoy traveling to foreign counties. Some of my favorites have been Vietnam, Guatemala, Sweden and Slovenia.

I am extremely excited and honored to be a part of the Asheville City Real Estate team! The firm has successfully assisted my entire extended family in buying, selling and managing properties for the last 15 years, and there is no other place I would rather be!! From the first time meeting the City Real Estate team, I felt a part of the their fabulous family!
Before embarking on the new adventure of real estate, I worked for over twenty years as a counselor with children, adolescents and families in setting and achieving goals to enhance their life experience.
I was born and raised in Western North Carolina and lived in Asheville for many years. I currently live in Burnsville, NC, where I enjoy hiking and playing my guitar by a campfire with my husband, Bradley and dog, Buck.
My authentic desire for people to achieve their goals and live their best life will enable me to successfully guide and assist you in selling or buying in the majestic mountains of Western North Carolina. I look forward to assisting you in your real estate success!
